Tamikrest "Chatma" 

The new album by the Saharan band Tamikrest is out on Glitterbeat Records. This is the third album I have produced and mixed for the band. New CD: Hidden Memories of Angela Vode 

This beautifully sleeved CD is out on July 1st via Fear of Speed. The music is excerpts of a soundtrack that I did for the Maja Weiss TV film: "Hidden Memories of Angela Vode". The instrumentation is a string trio and electronics. The CD comes in a hand-set letterpress packaging, silver ink on black. Latest projects 

3/23/2013: Two projects that I worked on over the summer have Just been released: the My Buddy Moose album Shine! Shine! Shine! which I produced and mixed came out a month ago and has been getting amazing reviews in the Croatian press. These guys know who the Repalcements are and prove it.

The Danish band Pocket Life have just put out their new album "Rattle When You Walk" which I mixed. Very cool power pop arrangements.

Andrea Schroeder: Helden 

3/15/2/013: Andrea Schroders's German version of Bowie's "Heroes" has just come out. Producing "Helden" at the famous Hansa studios was definitely an amazing experience.


Maja Weiss documentary premieres 

3/17/2013: The Maja Weiss documentary "Pisatelj In Mesto" (Writer in the City) about the Slovenian writer Drago Jančar preimered on Slovenian National television. I did the soundtrack for the film.

3/5/2013: We have started production on Tamikrest's third album at Studio Sono outside of Prague. Milan Cimfe is the engineer. !

Glitterbeat Records 

The first releases from Glitterbeat are finally coming out. First up is a 12" billed as Mark Ernestus Meets Ben Zabo. It has two amazing remixes by electro-explorer Ernestus of tracks taken from Ben Zabo's 2012 Afro-rock debut. Following that we will release two full-length albums: Samba Toure's "Albala" (May 3rd) and "Troubles" by Dirtmusic (June 7th)
